Yoga, Pilates, Dance & Movement Classes in Chattanooga
Movement for real bodies, real lives, and every level of experience.
Golden Wellness offers yoga, heated movement, Yin, Pilates, sound experiences, workshops, and community-centered classes in East Brainerd.
You do not have to be a “yoga person” to be here.
You do not need to be flexible.
You do not need experience.
You do not need to know what half the poses are called.
Come to sweat.
Come to stretch.
Come to get stronger.
Come to slow down.
Come because your brain needs somewhere else to be for an hour.
There is space for you here.
Small classes. More room to actually be seen.
Golden is intentionally different from the packed-room fitness experience.
Our small-group yoga and movement classes in Chattanooga give instructors more room to offer guidance, modifications, and individual attention while giving you space to learn without feeling lost in a crowd.
You can ask questions.
You can take up space.
You can be new.
You don't have to keep up with the room to belong in it.
Whether there are four people beside you or twelve, the goal is the same: movement that feels personal, welcoming, and human.
Heated Hatha
A stronger, heat-building yoga practice that combines breath, balance, strength, and intentional movement.
Expect to move, sweat, and challenge yourself without needing to perform perfectly.
Good for: building strength, mobility, confidence, and endurance.
Vinyasa Yoga
A flowing yoga practice that connects breath with movement, moving from one posture into the next with intention.
Vinyasa can build strength, mobility, balance, and endurance while giving your mind something to focus on besides everything happening outside the room. Classes can vary in pace and intensity, and modifications are always welcome.
You do not need to know the poses before you arrive.
Good for: full-body movement, strength, mobility, stress relief, building a yoga practice, and anyone who enjoys a more fluid style of movement.
Yin Yoga
A slower, floor-based practice using longer-held postures to support mobility, flexibility, nervous-system downshifting, and rest.
This is less about “doing” and more about allowing.
Good for: recovery, stress relief, mobility, beginners, and anyone who needs to slow down.
Pilates
Intentional strength and control with a focus on core stability, posture, alignment, and full-body strength.
You do not need prior Pilates experience to start.
Good for: strength, stability, body awareness, and controlled movement.
Built by 9
A bodyweight-focused strength class built around control, coordination, and progressive movement. Expect foundational calisthenics, core work, balance, and strength-building patterns that help you get more confident using your own body as resistance. Class may also use light weights for resistance.
Good for: functional strength, body control, coordination, balance, and building confidence with bodyweight movement.
Hip Hop Heat
A high-energy heated dance class built around hip hop movement, rhythm, cardio, and having a damn good time.
No dance background required.
Good for: cardio, confidence, coordination, and anyone who wants movement to feel more like a party than a workout.
Sound + Restorative Experiences
Sound baths, meditation, breathwork, restorative practices, and special events designed to help you slow down and reconnect.
