Your Questions, Answered
-
For most people, every 4–6 weeks is a good general rhythm, but it depends on your skin, your goals, and what you’re treating. Some clients come monthly, while others come seasonally or as needed. We’ll help you figure out what actually makes sense for your skin instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all schedule.
-
Sometimes, but timing matters. Tretinoin can make the skin more sensitive, so dermaplaning may not be appropriate if your skin is irritated, peeling, or recently over-exfoliated. Let us know what you’re using before your appointment so we can decide what is safest for your skin.
-
Avoid aggressive exfoliation, scrubs, waxing, and other potentially irritating treatments in the days leading up to your peel. If you use tretinoin, retinoids, acids, or prescription skincare, let us know before your appointment so we can give you the right prep instructions.
-
It depends on the type and strength of the peel. Some peels have very little visible downtime, while others may cause dryness, flaking, or peeling for several days. We’ll explain what to expect before treatment so you can plan accordingly.
-
Usually yes, but if possible, we recommend giving your skin a little time to breathe after your appointment. After more active treatments like peels, dermaplaning, or stronger exfoliation, we may recommend waiting longer depending on your skin and the service performed
-
Keep things simple. Use gentle skincare, moisturize, wear SPF, and avoid over-exfoliating or introducing a bunch of new products right away. We’ll give you specific aftercare recommendations based on the treatment you received.
-
No. More products do not automatically mean better skin. We’d rather help you build a routine you can actually stick to, using products that make sense for your skin and your goals.
-
Facials can support acne-prone skin by addressing congestion, inflammation, hydration, and overall skin health, but acne is complex and results vary. We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing and recommend the most appropriate approach for your skin.
-
Yes, but timing matters. For a first-time facial or a more active treatment, give your skin some buffer time before a major event. If you have a wedding, photoshoot, or special occasion coming up, tell us the date and we can help you plan the best timing.
Still Unsure? That’s what consultations are for.

You do not need to diagnose your own skin before booking.
